The Idaho Trucking Association and our members have been instrumental in fostering a fair and consistent business climate for the trucking industry in Idaho. Attend our safety meetings and other educational courses. Stay informed about the most recent laws and regulations affecting the trucking industry. Recognize our professional drivers and their commitment to safety at the annual Idaho Truck Driving Championships!
2. Be Part of a Strong Trucking Industry Voice in Idaho
Engage regularly with the Idaho legislature to represent carrier interests and promote a safe and reliable transportation infrastructure across the state. Provide information to legislators about regulations affecting the trucking industry through regular outreach and events.

Positively influence local, state and federal governmental actions to promote increased efficiency and profitability for members! The ITA advocated for a streamlined permitting system for commercial vehicles in Idaho. We also spearheaded the legislative effort to allow 129,000-pound vehicles on interstates and designated state highways, resulting in greater efficiencies for carriers.
4. Connect with Regulatory Agencies and Resources
Work with state and federal regulatory agencies at regular ITA events and educational meetings. Build relationships and benefit from the opportunity to get answers to complicated questions and issues.
5. Network with Trucking Industry Professionals from Across Idaho
Collaborate with other motor carriers and allied industry partners at many exciting events, including regional meetings, safety education courses and conventions.
