Robert started working at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in 2003, serving as the Transportation Assistant. In 2008, Robert graduated from the FMCSA Academy to become a Safety Investigator. During this time, Robert also became certified in commercial bus inspections and SPE’s (Skills Performance Evaluations). In 2014 Robert became the State Programs Specialist, overseeing the States’ Commercial Driver’s License Program and Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program. Robert has conducted compliance investigations in Alaska, Oregon, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming, and conducted Motorcoach inspections in Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore National Memorial and in Las Vegas NV.

Prior to joining FMCSA, Robert served 20 years Active Duty in the United States Marine Corps.
